A Lively Place

Every season offers a rich selection of all-ages activities: photographic exhibitions, sculptures, concerts, plays, children activities, coach rides, etc.

Heritage Days will be an exceptional occasion, as the De Maupas family chapel will open its doors to the general public.

Located in the second floor, same level as the private apartments of the family, the Chapel is inside the medieval tower, facing East, right across the pond. The Chapel used to be in the truncated tower, same level as the garden, but it was moved during the Castle’s restoration in the Nineteenth Century.

The Chapel is adorned with regional ceramics and polychrome statues of saints, as well as with chasubles embroidered by the current marquis’ grandmother.
